LACA 2007 CITY OF PASADENA PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS, Members of the Los Angeles Concierge Association are visiting Pasadena today, on April 19, 2007 for an entertaining and educational familiarization visit to learn more about the City's many fine attractions; and,

WHEREAS, the city of Pasadena recognizes the important role that concierges play in the travel and hospitality industry by providing visitors with current information, advice, guidance and assistance, and by demonstrating hospitality to and sharing local knowledge with thousands of visitors and tourists from around the world; and,

WHEREAS, the City of Pasadena strongly encourages tourism, conventions, and special events as a very important part of Pasadena’s vibrant cultural life and healthy economy;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Bill Bogaard, Mayor of the City of Pasadena, on behalf of the City Council, do hereby proclaim April 19, 2007 as
